Finishing The Outlines

Honestly, I don't feel inspired to write the last two outlines this evning... I'm going to do it sometime tomorrow as they are going to take a lot of time and thought. Right now, I feel as though it will be best to separate all of the Merida ideas as each experience gave me a new perspective on the city, my own life, as well as my education.

I promise, there will be lots of updates tomorrow.

Europe From a Backpack Homepage

Looks like I might have a chance to submit a story or stories about Spain. What is really cool is that I ended up meeting the editor back in 2003!

Quick Update

As you can see, I ended up getting around to adding the additional outlines. I plan to write the other two tomorrow sometime if I get a chance.

I am still undecided regarding the Merida outline. I have to admit, it has been fun looking them over again... Each item brings back lots of great memories. I just hope that I can capture everthing somewhat accurately. There is just SO much material.

I should read "Europe from A Backpack" again... I wonder if they are still writing books...

I might try to get some short stories published.

Old Outlines Found

This afternoon I came across some old outlines I created back in 2003. I have intentions of writing extensively on the subject of the 5 study abroad experiences I had while at Michigan State University. In reality, I participated in Alternative Spring Break 3 times as well. I want to create something lasting out of all of that experience.

Thus far, I have outlines for the following:
  • London/Glasgow - Summer 2000
  • Quito, Ecuador - Fall 2001
  • Caceres, Spain - Spring 2002
  • Merida, Mexico - Springs 2001, 2003, Summer 2003
I still need an outline for the following: Puebla, Mexico - Spring 2004, Monterrey, Mexico - Summer 2004.

Also, I am undecided as to how to treat my experiences in Merida - as you can see, I traveled to Merida, Mexico extensively (once in 2001 with Alternative Spring Break and twice in 2003 - once with Alternative Spring Break and once with Study Abroad) .

I will post each outline individually tomorrow... I still have a few things I need to accomplish on LiveJournal before I turn in.

Welcome!

I am simply setting up this particular blog in order to concentrate ideas and writings for a possible novel. It is to be viewed as a subsidiary of my blog "Writings of a Misguided Blonde."

Everything included in future posts is pure fiction! Just kidding... Right now, I am working on autobiographical writings. However, later I do plan to work on fiction.

Please enjoy!
